40 HIM’s showed up at Comanche this AM for near perfect beatdown conditions (52-degrees and clear skies). This was the most action we’ve seen at Comanche since last year’s Anny. F3 OG’s and #Kotters were plentiful. It was great to see some old faces that I hadn’t seen in a while. Special thanks to those Pax from Mount Pleasant, Midland, & Mint Hill for making the not so short trek to our AO, along with representatives from several other local AO’s, all of Tradition and all of Highlands.

Fellowship commenced at 0515. Us Comanche Pax almost never arrive early, so it was awkward for us standing and around talking prior to a beatdown. YHC gave a thorough disclaimer and we got started with an Avalanche led warm-o-rama. YHC served as his translator. No pre-run – sorry rabbits and you’re welcome, clydesdales ;-)!
WARMUP:
Motivator – 7-1. Avalanche accidentally started with 10, so we had to restart. Apologies, he was just a little bit excited to start.
Penny Picker X10IC
Mountain Climber X10IC
Downward Dog to stretch our CAALLLVES er Calves

We split the group in half, with Avalanche taking one group and YHC the other to our pillars of pain. Each pillar had a pain station, timed by station 1 (Mosey up, back, up). The stations were as follows: Incline Merkin, People’s Chair, Big Boy Crunch, Mike Tysons, Pure Burn (crowd favorite squatted calf raise), Wall Taps, Dirty Hookups, Donkey Kicks, Calf Raises, Battle Ropes, Balls 2 the Wall, and Glute Raise. We got through most stations before Avalanche prematurely ejaculated err called time. Guess he was still a little too excited….

We then mosey’d over to our heavy-duty picnic tables for some more crowd-pleasing activities. Partner Plank Leg Press X25 & Partner Plank Shoulder Press X25. Heatstroke got all he wanted and more this morning staring at YHC’s nuts. R2D2 was so excited to be introduced to a new exercise after 10 years of F3, you’d have thought he was in middle school again. Wait….
Maybe it wasn’t the exercise itself that excited him.?.?.?

As YHC said during his disclaimer, I’m mostly inappropriate, so apologies.

We then added single partner picnic table exercises with partner run running a loop around the bus lot (in YHC’s group) or the yield sign (Avalanche’s Blue Pill Group) while partner 2 did the exercise of choice: Cheek Clappers, Leg Raises, Reverse Hyperextensions, Dickline Merkins (as Avalanche pronounces them), and Box Jumps/Step Ups. We almost got run over by a school bus. They must’ve known School Bus was visiting today as in six years of Comanche, no bus has ever entered the teacher lot like that…….

Once all Pax had completed their exercises and run(s), we put some picnic tables back for the shorties to enjoy today at school and mosey’d back to our main MARY lot for some more fun.
Pretzel Crunch X10IC, Low Dolly X15IC, Rosalita X10IC. Since we got your glutes and hips loosened up and your cheeks clapped earlier, YHC decided to end things with a good old fashion A-ROD (J-Lo/Pickle Pounder Combo). Tell your M’s that you will at least be prepared for the moment when it comes thanks to Buckwheat.

Thanks to all that came to visit us today, we hope you enjoyed. Special thanks to Avalanche for planning the majority of today’s beatdown and for keeping us on track time wise!

ANNOUNCEMENTS: F3 Dads coming up soon!
COT: Prayers for Poutine with his recent prostate cancer diagnosis. Men, please get checked out. Early detection is critical. Best wishes for good news at your next appointment on 04/17, Poutine!

Prayers for Hammer and his family, particularly his mother whose health is declining rapidly.

Prayers for Greek’s child, Stetson, who has been in the hospital for two weeks. Hopefully his breathing gets back to normal so surgery can be done as scheduled.

Prayers for the young girls in Mount Pleasant and their families (F3 included) as they suffered significant injuries during a car accident this past weekend.

YHC inadvertently neglected to include the victims and families of yesterday’s school shooting in TN. Please God help us curb the senseless gun violence in this country. It’s way too far out of control ashame.

Prayers also for everyone dealing with mental health issues that they are able to get the help and/or medicine that you need to address those issues effectively.
