A call to action was made yesterday afternoon to support our brother @Phantom who is undergoing surgery for Thyroid Cancer at Duke on Friday. Our brother Phantom has been an F3er for about 3 years all while battling Cystic Fibrosis and now recently battling cancer.

– Awesome sight to see 47 faces in the gloom to support one of our own. We are just not a workout group men, we are a group with a purpose and mission which was displayed by all you men showing up. When one of our own needs support, we are there no questions asked to lift him up.
– Thanks to our brothers from the varies AO’s in MECA for posting. All of us started from the Highlands AO 4 years ago so it was great to have some of those old faces back.
– Keep Phantom and his family in your thoughts and prayers as he undergoes surgery on Friday. We will try to provide updates when we get them throughout the day on his progress. In addition, I will be in touch to see if there is any assistance needed while he is recovering at home.

Sorry Gump, we were late getting the memo, we tried to notify all RS to come out, but in the end we decided to stick to the regularly scheduled program. Good thing we did, because a new guy showed up today.
BTW, Rolling STone’s own, Jimmy Buffet did make an appearance, so we werent totally absent.

Can we do this again tomorrow? I didn’t get to do a whole lot of 2ndF for obvious reasons but some of the comments were hilarious during the workout. Always great to get all of us together.
