Davis Lake 2 Year Anniversary Converge aka Can we fit 80+ men into the Davis Lake parking lot???

All All MECA Backblasts

May 27th, 2017 By The Farm

Two years ago, this AO was launched with 53 men. I remember thinking, we aren’t going to last a week here! We were loud. We were rowdy. But two years later, after many have come and gone, the AO still stands. That’s thanks to all of the support we received then and continue to receive today. As a region, I remember lots of growth that year. Mint Hill launched a month before us, Skywalker launched a month after. Since, we’ve seen Garinger, The Dawg House, Comanche, etc form. Waists have gotten smaller, pounds have been lost, men have gotten stronger, and will be around longer to serve their families and communities as leaders. I can’t wait to see what we do in the next two years!

Today, 80 men posted to see what exactly we do at Davis Lake. @King Julian made sure to come up with some questionable exercises that got the mumblechatter flowing and YHC made sure to point out that I had nothing to do with them. Anyone today’s beatdown was broken out into two parts that went as follows:

Warm-o-rama
SSH x 15 IC
IST x 15 IC
MC x 15 IC (Paused here because I knew if I did Cotton Pickers, the Lakers would clap…and they did)

AOs represented this morning included Highlands, Rolling Stone, Comanche, Tradition, The Precinct, The Dawg House, Harrisburg, Concord, Boondocks, Mint Hill & Lake Norman region. Anyone from Skywalker? Good seeing you all!

Something I forgot to mention is @King Julian was one of several FNGs at the Davis Lake launch…happy 2 year anniversary brother. You’ve been instrumental to the continued success of the AO. We appreciate you.

I hope this was an opportunity for guys to meet men that they haven’t met before and begin to form relationships across other AOs. We work out at individual AOs but we’re one region and one F3. Great demonstration of that today!

Announcements:

King Tiger 5k on 6/3. Form your teams, come out, dominate!
Harrisburg 4 year anniversary convergence on 6/10! Let’s do this again!
