Red Friday: Honoring the Fallen Heroes of Task Force 1-18, 1st Infantry Division

Today 20 men came out in the gloom to honor the fallen soldiers from TF 1-18IN who paid the ultimate sacrifice during Operation Iraqi Freedom II  (2004).  This workout was especially personal to me as these were all of the men that I deployed with who paid the ultimate sacrifice and did not come home with us.  I am humbled that I was able to lead this morning’s Red Friday Beatdown in honor of them.  I want to give a special shoutout to Alcatraz for enabling us with his speaker.

Prayers go our to Ambassador and his family that their newly born little boy recovers from his long surgery.  There were prayers that God provides him with healing, his family with a sense of hope and peace.  There was also a praise for God giving the surgeons the steady hand to perform this difficult surgery.  Our prayers are with you Ambassador.

    Great lead today @Harding. That was really tough. There was a pretty visible trail of sweat going across the parking lot by the end of the beatdown. Thanks for honoring the memory of your brothers in arms today.

    And a special thanks for getting the song “Hey Ya” stuck in my head all morning. That’s not annoying at all.

    That was absolutely brutal- great tribute to these 7 men.

    I saw some impressive puddles of sweat around the circle as well and sweaty bear crawl tracks all through the parking lot.

      Excellent research @Disaster! We were way off on Thunderstuck. Hard to believe Hey Ya was 2003. I think I am starting to feel as bad as Kool-Aid!
