Warm-o-Rama
​7 men gathered in the gloom ready to conquer the curb. After a quick disclaimer, YHC led the crew through a mosey, stopping along the way to hit the basics to get the blood flowing:
• ​SSHs, IST, HBs, Abe Vigodas, merkins, mountain climbers, low slow squats, over head claps, penny pickers

​The Thang: Island Hopper DIY
​The main event took full advantage of the parking lot’s geography: 9 curb-lined islands spread across the asphalt. YHC provided an assortment of heavy objects for the PAXs choosing. Task was this: select a weight of your choosing and carry it to each island. At each island, each PAX was responsible for choosing and completing their own exercise. Islands 1, 4 and 7 were upper body exercise x 25. Islands 2, 5, 8 were lower body exercise x 25 and islands 3, 6, 9 were Core exercises.

Once complete, we moved back to island 1 for some curb shuffles…? Not sure their official name but they were Othello inspired (im adding him to the BB since he was there in spirit today)

That was followed by some weighted lunge walks and side lunges between islands. We finished the day with my personal favorite- tennis court pullups/chin-ups and dead hangs.

​Due to flawless planning and execution of the BD, we only had 30 seconds of Mary which meant a 30 second plank and…recover, recover.

Glad to Bunyan back in the gloom and feeling well. Also, shout out to wildthang for getting the turkey- 3 straight beatdowns!!! Solid work.
