We all want to be like Farm!

All All MECA Backblasts

February 10th, 2016 By Coyote

11 runners ventured out this morning for another round of BRR training this morning. If you aren’t on the team, you are still going to be doing the training runs….so you might as well join!

The Route:

Right out of the valley

Left onto Governor Hunt (This road is always great to run on for the BRR because it is a constant up and down and from what I have been told, the BRR has some hills…)

Right onto David Taylor

Left onto….sigh…Senator Royal! This road is one of the longer and steeper grades in the MECA region and it will definitely be something that we will continue to attack in runs going forward!)

When we arrived to Senator Royal, we made sure to wait for the entire PAX to arrive at the bottom so we could take it on together! Iron sharpens iron was in full effect today!

After dodging all of the cars that seemed to be going 80 down a business park road, we arrived at Mallard Creek. I think we also need to start a petition for some damn street lights on that road! If we were less agile men, we might have become road kill.

Left onto Mallard Creek

Left onto other Mallard creek all the way home

The Moleskin:

-Never thought I would be given mumble chatter via text for a BB not being up at 8 in the morning, but apparently @Dingo and @TheFarm wanted to read about what they just did 2 hours ago really soon…..

-@Guiness was in the front for pretty much the whole run. Continues to impress and I’m glad he is on our BRR team!

-Glad to see @Pharaoh out at one of ours runs again! If you have never urn with @Pharoah before, I don’t know of anyone who has mastered the “talk and run” maneuver more than him and its great because the 2ndF he brings always makes the runs go by quicker!

-@Mutant and @Muggsy were also towards the front of the pack this morning and we did get an HC from @Muggsy for the BRR today and a SC from @Mutant to be a backup…which means he has HC’ed!! No choice brother, you are a part of the team now!

-Tclaps to @GentleGrizzly and @Pharaoh for pulling the 6 forward this morning towards the end of the run! Its all about making our brothers stronger!

-@InnKeeper and @TripleThreat allowed me to stick with them during the time up Senator Royal and I’m pretty sure I heard both of them say it wasn’t long enough!!! Strong work today fellas!

-I lost @Ribshack this morning during the run up Senator Royal and got nervous for a minute only to find out he had already completed the hill! Great work and you are now a runner for sure!!! SAY IT ISN’T SO!!!!

-Everyone is getting stronger and we will continue to push these runs further and further so that by the end of it, each man will wish they were a part of the BRR team!!!

-Would love to see each of these guys out on Saturday mornings from now on! You’re runners now so you have no choice…

Aye!!!

Coyote……HOOOOOOOWWWWWLLLLLLLLL
