YHC was convinced to bring back an oldie but a goodie to celebrate Afton’s 8th anniversary. The Sharknado cardboard resurfaced, was attached to a shovel and firmly planted near the main playground at Dorton.

0530 rolled around 14 PAX set off for the warm-a-rama. Once YHC remembered how to count in cadence, we finished the warm up and strolled to the playground.

Sharknado ensued:
*15 Burpees … lap around the loop
*20 Diamond Merkins … lap
*20 WWII’s … lap
*20 Regular Merkins… lap
*20 Drydocks… lap
**** REPEATO until time was called 0610ish

Somewhere in the middle of the beatdown, a hop_hunter appeared from the abyss of the fog to join the PAX… darn alarm clock.

We tackled 4-5 min of Mary, and wrapped it up with a 1-min plank hold.

– Lifting up Opie as he heads to WV to lay his Dad to rest. Praying for God to unify and reconnect his family.
– Praying for the homeless that was underneath the shed this morning… for strength and stability.
– Praying for all the teachers and students who are headed back to school.
– Prayers for Bravo’s M as she manages a tough job situation.

We all agreed that both hokie_pokie @ Spaz should tackle Sharknado down in Emerald Isle, and send proof to the channel later this morning!
