To increase the chances of teens waking up for a 7am workout we excluded everyone under 10 years of age and played flag football and soccer. The rewas also meant to raise the competition by not having ankle biters to trip over… yet the 11 year olds Tank and FNG Chloe might have been the MVP’S!

Upon arrival each Pax was given a red, blue or yellow set of flags and split into two teams, Red vs Blue and Yellow.

WARMUP:
A warm up lap and then Skipper lead us on a typical F3 warmarama
THE THANG:
Run to the field while passing soccer balls and footballs

Split into two groups:

1. New(ish) to American Football took a quick lesson from @skipper

2. “Football familiars” learned some common spanish phrases for soccer. To ensure proper pronunciation they did a exercise in rythm repeating Profe Walkers chant: “cabecita” 4 merkins “cabecita” 4 more merkins. “Pásamela, de la cocina, aquí and corre” were also drilled with squats, side straddle hops and merkins.

Once the training was done it was on to the games. Flag football came 1st and red team dominated Yellow/Blue but when it came to soccer…. well, we still lost ????. Jumanji made a great call and swapped with me (not sure what he was trying to say) and under new leadership it was a closer game.

At every touch down and half tome burpees and merkins were used to foght off the dreaded disease known as “soccer arms”.

Overall it was a blast and we named FNG Erin “Vulture” based off of him being from Turrkey and a lover of Spider Man.

Breakfast at Sunflower with 8 pax brough F3Dads teens to an amazing end. We hope for more in the future!
