THE THANG: A game of modified uno in the parking lot at the corner of biotechnology and laureate. Pax were to pick up a uno card from a pile scattered at the far end of lot then bring the card down to the other end to do an exercise corresponding to the color and number on the card. If a draw two was picked pax were to grab that number of additional cards. There were four exercises based on the color of the cards yellow -Mike Tyson’s, red-jump squats, blue-WWIIs and green- merkins. Pax ran down to the pile, picked up a card, ran back to the other end of the lot and repeato. And for the surprise, q had drawn a large circle encompassing the cards on the ground. If a gong sounded from the speaker while pax were still inside the circle pax had to do 7 burpees before proceeding. During the thang gunny revealed that he likes the backward cowboy position. Squid registered on the richter scale trying to jump out of the circle in time. Several pax were pushed into the circle without consent, risky spent most of the time in the circle, the burgh laughed in the face of burpees but refused to pick up the mess the kids made, the big show was as unfazed as ever, sir topham tried to count gongs, Schnitzel and Heisenberg were as amiable as always, back draft made his usual comments that included mentioning bending over and other renditions of some such.
