First Fall 2015 Cruise at The Valley

7 men started the first day of fall off right by diving out of the fartsack and going for a creative cruise down and back.

The Thang:

Moleskin:

This was supposed to be a 4 mile cruise, but because a) YHC forgot to start his watch until I was at the bottom of the Hill of Shadows and b) I was feeling really good this morning, we ended up running around 4.8 miles.

Also, I would like to point out that @Forgotten Jelly was all over Twitter last night giving me a hard time about my route and did not post. I even wore my brand spanking new Davis Lake neon shirt. Maybe next time brother!

Announcements:

Davis Lake will be starting a couch to 5k training program this Friday, September 25, at the Davis Lake AO. Come out if you’re interested!

Mud Run F3 Registration has been extended to October 3rd. Sign up! Even if you don’t have a team, you can sign up and be paired with some other guys later.

Beatdown Chowdown at Tradition on October 10. 7am beatdown with guest Qs. 8am breakfast and fellowship.

  Chowder quiet? Are you kidding? He was talking the whole way with Coyote. I was quiet. It was hard for me to talk. I was working on getting oxygen.

Almost forgot, I enjoyed the 2nd F with @Ajax this morning. Apparently, he is double downing the weekend of the Spartan Beast and Sprint. That is crazy bro! Some would call it Completely Stupid and Utterly Pointless. #CSAUP. You are definitely among the right group of men.
