All All MECA BackblastsJuly 8th, 2015
27 or so Pax showed at Tradition – 8 cruisers and 19 for the Iron Fist- (sound off if someone was missed)
The Cruisers sat down and talked about completing a 4 mile run..which eventually they did indeed complete!

@Pax – Thanks for letting me lead, I always consider it an honor. I am especially thankful for the moments when I get to speak about Faith in the COT. Thanks for listening!
Great work by our FNGs!
Come on talks of faith should always be welcome in F3!
It’s always a tough workout when you Q and I enjoy your words of wisdom afterwards as well! Great job! @Pharoah and @PAX
@Pharaoh: Definitely a beat down; thanks for the strong lead. The Jack Webb with double counts with a x4 up the ladder was tougher than it reads on paper.
@King Louie & @Buckwheat- good partnering with you guys there at the end though don’t ask us to run the partner/push thing evenly, I think we got that all mixed up. But we didn’t stop moving & that’s the point! ISI
@Mountaineer 2.0 Sam- good work & good to see you out pushing us old guys!
@Soundwave- welcome back out, you already are showing progress after 2 posts, good work!
Pharaoh, my favorite part of the morning was when the BGR ladies started cheering on the cruisers and you chastised them for it. Unbelievable!
Nice turnout for both Cruise and Iron Fist.
Thanks to @TheFarm for hanging back and doing 9 to 9:30 min miles. Important thing is that we got the distance in. There is a lot of time between now and Thunder Road. When @Jumanji said “let’s turn it up”, I knew it was only a matter of time before those guys were gone. Much respect to you guys doing under 8 splits. Regardless, enjoyed getting out and running the greenway was a welcome change (except for that hill at the end to get back).
@Buckwheat was present and accounted for…
Great lead as always, @Pharoah, even though we showed for Iron Fist and were greeted with a bootcamp style beatdown brick-a-lug style ;-). Did you really just randomly find those things in the woods?
I agree w/ @The Farm. Your comment to the ladies clapping for the cruisers who had literally just started their run was, indeed, priceless. #dontcheerforthemtheyveonlyrunabout20feet!
Your words of faith are always good at the end of beatdowns!
Loved the tire flip medley at the end. Will definitely incorporate those tires into future beatdowns.
In w/ @RibShack on the Jack Webbs. The brick merkins add a little more burn. Had to drop my bricks midway through the last set of shoulder presses and do air presses as my shoulders were on fire!
@RibShack and @King Louie- Not sure how we got all jacked up on the push pulls either.?.?.?
@Speechless and @Soundwave- Great work today. Keep it up!!
@Buckwheat We just wanted to work out more than the rest!
Great use of the A O and spare stuff sitting around!
Thanks @Pharaoh
