Bells and Burpees

12 men posted for what I’m sure they thought would be a normal KB beatdown, but YHC had a little more than that planned. At some point Mr. Belding thought it was Wednesday and that we were doing cinderblocks. Mr. Belding I know you’re ready for the school year to be over, but it’s only Monday my friend. A few PAX had to grab cinderblocks to serve as KB’s, then we were ready to get started. It went like this:

Warm Up
Mosey to Outback
SSH x 15
IST x 12
Cotton Picker x 12
Mountain Climbers x 10
Arm Circles
Mosey back to KB’s in lot
(A few PAX grabbed cinderblocks)

KB exercises x 10, Burpees were 1-6 1st and 3rd rounds, then 6-1 on the 2nd and 4th

1 Burpee
KB Swings
2 Burpees
KB Squat Press
3 Burpees
Lawn-mower pulls
4 Burpees
Clean and Press
5 Burpees
Curls (Get the girls)
6 Burpees
Skull Crushers

Repeato 3 times (total of 4 rounds) alternating the Burpee ladder 1-6, 6-1.

Mary
Curl Ups for 1 minute while partner holds feet
Toe Touches w/bell x 10 IC
Homer to Marge Melody (Rosalita, Low Flutter)
LBC x 10 IC

    Great way to start the week GG! If I knew I would be doing 84 burps this morning I’m sure I would’ve found a excuse not to show :-).

    The slow boil method ( frog in a pan of heating water) was less — but not by much–pain full.

    Nice beatdown Grizzly. Monday mornings are always tough. Glad you gave us a burpee option to do merkins instead. That was appreciated. 🙂

    @gentlegrizzly- nothing gentle about that beatdown! I really enjoyed it. Great job man! I think I poked the bear when I said I was here to do kb’s. Turned out to be a great morning and great workout.

    @dutch- thanks for letting me use your special f3 edition kb. I enjoyed getting a little extra weight in.
