Time called at 7:10, put up blocks and mosey to top of the new deck the long way through downtown. 35 Burpees performed at the top for Q’s Birthday.
Mosey back to Mary and called 5 minutes early.
Cot: Prayed for our country and headed to coffee.
Naked Man Moleskins: Q had special motivation to lead today, Turned 35 today! Large pax for a Saturday beatdown which made the Q happy. Chatter was strong early on, FC didn’t like the order of stretching before running, but he didn’t know what was coming. Running was kept to a minimum (lots of running lately). Everyone got worried that the circuit would go for the full hr and we’re already complaining after 2 to 3 round. Q let them know it would not, but the surprise coming would not be enjoyed. Most of the Pax completed 3 to 4 rounds before Q called it. Private Ryan was really expecting coffee and cinnamon rolls at the top of the new deck (he was genuinely disappointed). For the Pax didn’t know yet, Q wished happy to himself and gifted himself and the Pax 35 Burpees, 1 for each yr. Groaning commenced and TP issued a warning for his 59th birthday present to the Pax. Once back at Mary, Q called it 5 minutes early because he enjoys Coffee Time as much as the beatdown. Been morphine free for 4 months, this is the first birthday I have celebrated since 22 yrs old that I have been Prescription Pain Med free. Every day gets easier, the pain is ever present, but every morning with you guys keeps me accountable and reminds me that I am not alone. This group is something special, willing to help each other at the drop of a hat but doesn’t hesitate to let each other know, they have to be willing to help themselves first. Keep moving forward and always be willing to help your fellow man. Most importantly, laugh often and never take yourself too seriously!
