8 Pax showed up for a not-so-intense beatdown followed by a INTENSE scrub down of Ridge Road Middle School.  I once again underestimated the fitness level at Highland Creek and found my beatdown lacking.

Typical warmarama

10 derkins at the top, quadrophelia down, 5 burpees, reverse spiderman and mosey back to the top.  Repeato 4x.

Truck push up a not so tall hill.  YHC underestimated the Highland Creek pax and had to combine the push with a indian run.  2 pax peeled off for a quick burpee and swapped out with another.

Then the real fun began.   All 8 of us made our way into YHC’s classroom for supplies and instructions.  With 3 powered brushes, clorox wipes and a half dozen other brushes we tackled 7 bathrooms and scrubbed  them clean of graffitti.  Most could only stay for 15 or 30 minutes (VERY much appreciated) but Dog Pound and Brinkley  stayed for a full hour 15 and got the place looking amazing.   As I’ve stated before Graffitti grows and is a major problem in schools everywhere.  A timely removal of it makes it less likely for it to be made, makes the kids feel safer and can have a drastic affect on behavior of the school.  Feeling that you go to a nice school makes it harder to trash it (slightly).  

Thank you men!   There will be at least one more clean up in the weeks to come but we made a huge improvement!
