Not much to say, too busy working hard!

All Harrisburg Backblasts

February 19th, 2018 By Talladega

On a dreary, misty, wet Monday morning, YHC was very thankful to see 5 other dedicated men show up to get better.  I had thought and rethought the workout the night before but finally decided to just go with the plan.  Then again, a few audibles along the way never hurt as I had no desire to be a human towel for the vast asphalt parking lot of CMS.  Off we went.

Disclaimer- no FNGs, everyone knows the drill, watch your step, asphalt is slippery when wet (and painted lines are even worse right Ti-85?)

Mosey to the parking lot for suicides

Repeat the cycle, this time with qua-dra-feel-y-uh (how do you really spell this made up word?) going down and back

At the steps at the main entrance

At the raised circle at the main entrance

Mosey to the hill with the gates and handrails

Repeat the cycle but this time doing under-hand pull ups

Mosey to the covered drive through under the main entrance for Mary.  YHC saw absolutely no reason to end the show by rolling around in puddles.  Plus, we did one of these exercises to 20 but I just can’t remember which one.  At this point, who really cares?

Not much chatter today but I’ll chalk that up to the major effort by all.  You guys are an encouragement to me to push, even on the days when the weather isn’t the best and it would have been easy to sleep in.  Kojak rucking the workout still amazes me- props for having the mental toughness (and physical ability) to want to push yourself above the norm.

Thanks guys for showing up today and for following along, was an honor to lead.  Go be salt and light to those in your circle of influence today.  Someone out there needs a word of encouragement, an example to follow, an ear to listen.  None of us are in this alone!
