RED Friday Hits the Burg

14 F3 Faithful joined up at Hickory Ridge High School under the early morning sky of Freedom to Remember Everyone Deployed. While saluting active service men and women, we also paid respect to Army First Lieutenant Omar J. Vazquez (K.I.A. 4/22/11).
Here’s how things went down:
Two line American Flag run w/ leaders of each line sharing the responsibility of holding our Flag high. Two Mericans off the back.
Plant & Circle the Flag. SSH ICx10, IST ICx10, Windmill ICx10 — PlankRespect reading of Lt. Omar Vazquez’s obituary… “If I have to go, there’s no better way to go than serving my country. But you don’t need to worry about me.”
Omar Workout:
- 10 Thrusters w/ weight (20 w/o weight)
- 15 Weight Facing Burpees w/ weight jump between
- 20 Thrusters w/ weight (40 w/o weight)
- 25 Weight Facing Burpees w/ weight jump between
- 30 Thrusters w/ weight (60 w/o weight)
- 35 Weight Facing Burpees w/ weight jump between
Bonus for early finishers: 25 Air Squats, 25 Mericans, 25 WWII Sit-ups… repeato until last man completed all reps
