There’s no “F” in CLAMS
All All MECA BackblastsFebruary 11th, 2017
As the dawn broke over Mallard Creek Park, strong men kicked back the warm confines of the fartsack for a lot of 1st F and quite of bit of 2nd F. Many in the PAX of 22 strong launched insults at YHC’s bag that happened to be leftover from his daughter’s cheerleading days. It’s contents would be glory for some and shame for others. Shovel Flag planted, disclaimer given and a mosey began to…
WARMARAMA:
- SSH x 19
- IST x 17
- Mountain Climber x 15
- Cotton Picker x 13
- Merkin x 11
THE THANG:

Stop at the middle rail for Incline Merkin, Dip, Derkin with half-way hold (single count 15, 10, 5)
Mosey to the elementary school bus lot and partner up for…
JP CLAMS:
- J is for Jump Rope – This is the timer as partners raced to complete 100 jumps the fastest. Losing team did 3 Burpees
- P is for Pullups – After Jump Rope the partners moved to play ground for a round of Pullups
- Remaining PAX rotate through CLAMS
- C is for Carolina Dry Docks
- L is for Lunges
- A is for Air Squats
- M is for Merkins
- S is for Sprints (in place with high knees)
Repeato with 80 jumps as the counter
Mosey to the rocks amid some cries about the lateness of the hour for 50 single count curls.
NATIVE AMERICAN MARY:

TRADITIONAL MARY:

COT and BOM!
THE MOLESKIN:
- Great work today men! The effort was great and the mumblechatter was even better.
- Welcome FNG Rashad! Keep showing up and you will get strong. Nice EH @DirtyMartini.
- Discover some 3rd F at the Shield on Thursday, Feb 16. Held at @Hammer’s house with co-Q’s @Sandman and @Pavarotti. Check the email for more details.
- Sound of in the comments for any encouragement or disparagement of the jump rope styles of any members of the PAX.
- There were some great jump rope battles but the ones between @Disaster vs. @Powerball, @MrPoppers vs. @Charmin and @Ambassador vs. Murdock stand out. @Powerball desperately wanted to beat @Disaster, while the other two resulted in comical profanity and the name of the backblast.
- YHC confessed that his profession doesn’t normally embrace profanity, but found it enjoyable when uttered by the opposing team when they lost.
- The Men’s Ministry at YHC’s church is collecting coats for Lydia’s Loft in Huntersville. Men’s coats are in high demand, but any new or gentle used coat is great. YHC will collect them through the month of February.
Always an honor to lead the PAX!

Hey @Alcatraz, thanks for highlighting my defeat. It’s always appreciated to be reminded of our shortcomings. All sarcasm aside, respect to @Disaster for pushing me. We both reminisced of JP CLAMS from the summer. To all PAX, it’s always a pleasure.
So shame isn’t an effective reinforcement for learning? I wish someone would have told my old principal that!
Speaking of shame – my apologies to my partner @Hammer for hitting him with the rope after my victorious double under.
No apologies required here brother, you earned the win. Besides, the Pastor Pike shows how much of a stud you are.
It must be mentioned @DropCloth found the key to making Native American Mary cover greater distances. But was it ingenuity or just laziness?
Great lead out there @Alcatraz. @Dropcloth and I were so tired we were struggling just to remember what the different letters stood for by the end of the second round. @Powerball, thanks for pushing me on the jump rope challenge. Well done.
