100th Post on F3nation.com
All All MECA BackblastsFebruary 18th, 2016
This is YHC’s 100th post on the F3 website. Most of those posts have been backblasts, while a few have been preblasts, but anyway I’m up near 100 F3 Q’s. The invigoration of male leadership in the community is part of F3’s mission and it has certainly worked with me. In F3, I have found camaraderie, inspiration, a healthier lifestyle, and a willingness to lead.
Q’ing a workout was the first step towards becoming a leader, and it made me more confident and creative, and forced me to push myself during workouts more than I would if I could just blend into the crowd. Then, I found myself wanting to lead beyond the individual workout, first by stepping up to bring a Yoga workout to F3 Harrisburg (over 2 years and going strong), then by serving as expansion Q for F3 Mint Hill, and now by heading up the F3 Boondocks AO. But, my drive to lead has not stopped with F3. I have also led my Neighborhood Watch as chairperson and actively engaged with my son’s Cub Scout Pack as a Den Leader. Who knows where else I will step up in the future.
I point all these things out, not to brag on myself–there are so many who have done so much more–but to thank the men of F3 who have made this possible for me. I said before that I gained inspiration in F3, and that inspiration came from other F3ers who were willing to lead me, and who encouraged me to keep going when I would have given up, and who encouraged me to step up to lead other men. I especially want to thank all those men who have allowed me to lead them in a workout and gladly followed along with whatever crazy, silly, and stupid idea I came up with. Also, I’m sorry. 🙂
If you haven’t led a workout yet, I highly recommend that you do.

- Thanks @SS Minnow and @Poncho letting me lead today. It was a pleasure.
- Glad nobody called the police on the three men humping the playground equipment. #ThatWouldHaveBeenEmbarrassing

Good stuff, enjoyed it. Would have been especially embarrassing for me!
Yes, I bet it would.
100 is strong @Deuce! Thanks for the leadership you’ve brought to the PAX!
Thanks @Clueless for helping to keep Warrior One running smoothly in my absence. Couldn’t have kept it going without you and @Othello. Glad to see some others stepping up to lead it- @Sid Vicious, @Cooter. Speaking of @Cooter, where has he been? I haven’t seen him on the backblasts since his V-Q.
You bet! @Cooter injured his shoulder in a sledding accident. He’s on a slow mend right now.
Ooh, that’s not good. Hopefully he’ll be back out soon.
Deuce…nice way to expand the AO with the neighborhood exploration …. lots more options….thanks for your leadership in building up this new AO
I do hope there were no video cameras on that playground, with Pancho and me both humping that piece of equipment from different angles …. what were you thinking, Q?
Just making it up as I went, sorry about that. At fifty reps, it was an effective exercise, though.
