Is it me or is there more traffic before 6a in The Burg now than in the past?

At the strike of 5:30a, 7 of The Ridge’s finest F3ers and canine Charlie beat the 23 degree cold and covered a solid 4.2 to 5 miles, depending on ones pace. Blue Ridge Relay was a hot topic of discussion as we traveled streets on the north and south of highway 49.

– Main to left on Carl Palmer
– Right onto Financial Way
– Left onto Saddle Creek to Shamrock Rd
– Shamrock Rd to end @ Pharr Mill Rd
– Return back on Shamrock
– Left onto River Hills Dr
– Right onto Timberwood Dr
– Left onto Shamrock to Saddle Creek
– Cross 49 to Financial Way
– Left onto Financial Way
– Right onto Main Street back to “Old Glory”

1. Always a pleasure to run with The Ridges finest.
2. My apologies for the quickly corrected wrong term on way out @ 49. Must have had my 5:34 brain working @ that time (which is basically sleep mode)
3. Seemed like traffic this morning was like rush hour in Manhattan………ok, maybe not quite Manhattan but there definitely seems to be more people out about on the mean streets of Harrisburg pre 6a than in the past.
4. Pleasure running with and learning more about Titleist. Great thing he and his wife are doing and supporting with their 33 “kids” in Uganda
5. 39 days till it is officially spring.

Solid lead, Casper. I appreciate the hang back. I will get faster. Traffic did seem heavy yesterday. Also, huge thank you for the shout out about our orphanage in Uganda. It’s not widely known and anyone talking about it helps shed some light on the project.
