Thank you for the Opportunity to Lead
Yes, I’ve now moved on to the #IHateOldGlory stage. And since @Dingo made fun of the “small” 40# KB I used yesterday, I fell obligated to mention this version of Old Glory is harder than their original – Burpees instead of Pull-ups and I believe a longer loop.
Clown car will leave 5am Saturday for anyone interested in supporting a new workout & paying forward the gift of F3 to our brothers at Burlington’s “Train Wreck” bootcamp. Or, anyone who doesn’t care about Sad Clowns who need to be supported in the Gloom but just want to horde this for yourselves can stay here & do the JV Rail Yard with Solo Cup. Just make sure you shower well after the workout to wash off all the shame.
Who’s gonna choose the #dailyredpill with me?
Well now you’re just being mean
Team Solo #hoarder
@SoloCup how are you counting your .25 laps?
I know @Othello was at least 3.25 instead of 3. If you were with him, then you had 3.25 also. The push ups is the first one so 0.25 into the next round. The sit ups completes the round.
It’s some powerful math.
I just count the number of times I do sit ups as a full lap, then If I do merkins its .25, Jump squats .5, Burpees .75
And log the laps you guys tell me…
In that case, bump me to 2.25 because I completed my 3rd round of merks. Thanks.
For what it’s worth, I’ve never had an issue counting my laps at #OldGlory. You guys sound like a bunch of women at Curves when the elliptical is broken. Complete another full lap and you won’t have to strain your brain with fractions.
Okay then you can tack on an extra .25 for me because I completed the 20 squat jumps. I was counting the same as @Othello, where the Merkins where the start. I always counted the start as the flag since it’s like the start of a track where you go straight into turn 1
Thanks @FlipPhone for defending my extra 0.25. I always thought when you start with merkins and end with merkins that was 1 “complete” loop. You and I must remember they do “southern” math down here. Next month you and I will push for the extra 0.5 lap! Aye! #ironsharpensiron.
Correct. Completing all four stations is 1 full lap
Hate I missed this. #MathIsHard @Othello, easy on the #southernmath slander. It’s what your kids are learning.
Nice lead Solo cup.
Its true what they say, it doesn’t get essier, but you do get stronger!
Where does @Swami come in? Is he #slowguy or #fastguy? Can he take the #fastestslowguy??
ALl I know is he’s faster than me
This was funny at first, but now ya’ll have got me a little worried. So Let’s make sure everyone understands:
Complete Station 1 (Merkins): .25 (Also Known as “The Start of the Loop”)
Complete Station 2 (Jump Squats): .50
Complete Station 3 (Burpees): .75
Complete Station 4 (WWII Sit Ups): 1 (Considered “The End of the Loop”)
Real life example: Take four quarters out of your pocket, it equals $1. You add one more, you have $1.25.
If we need to make any adjustments to scoring, let me know.
Good lead this morning Hans Solo Cup.
Ditto on what Hootie said. Man up WO men.
posh 😛
@Big Bird did a few of the WWII sit-ups at the end… Does ‘southern math’ account for that fraction of the .25 (10 reps=.125) better bump @BigBird to 3.125
@Bull left for work on the heels of my car as I left the neighborhood @5:28:31… I’m sure engineering math is easier than what old glory math has turned into. #hootieworkhours
