10 non-MudRun faithful gathered in the gloom for their Saturday #downPAINment.  It wasn’t intended to be a movie trivia morning, but the PAX fell woefully short when tested.  Shovel Flag planted, disclaimer given and the fun began.

Mosey to lower parking lot. @Gump chastised YHC because the Cruise is on Wednesday.  The tone for mutiny was set and would come to fruition in due time.

WARMARAMA:

• SSH x 15 IC

THE THANG:

Mosey to bottom of the hill and form one line for Indian run to top of hill.  6 Burpees in honor of our brothers who were running 6 miles with obstacles this morning.

Mosey to the corner of the elementary school for the following 4 corner progression…

1. Jack Webb (starting with 1 merkin and 4 airpresses and progressing to 10 merkins and 40 airpresses)
2. WW2 and LBC (staring with 1 WW2 and 4 LBC and progressing to 10 WW2 and 40 LBC)
3. Dan Taylor (starting with 1 squat and 4 single leg lunges and progressing to 10 squats and 40 single leg lunges)
   1. Props to @MrPoppers for getting the first quote “he’s got a purdy mouth” from Deliverance as speculation arose as to the inhabitants of the non-HOA house across the street.
4. The original plan was Reverse Crunch and Superman/Banana (starting with 1 Reverse Crunch and 4 turns of Superman/Banana and progressing to 10 Reverse Crunch and 40 turns of Superman/Banana)
   1. After 5 Reverse Crunches and 20 Superman/Banana turns YHC came to the realization that he was the only on still rolling around on the ground.  Mutiny complete.
   2. The mutinous PAX was directed to the curb and Burpees were substituted for Reverse Crunches and Mohammad Ali’s for Superman/Banana.
   3. At the 7 Burpee mark, YHC gave the PAX the chance to switch from Burpee to Merkin if they got the quote, “I only ask you to kneel, because I am kind”.  #FAIL  YHC even did the wide spread arms of Xerxes from 300, but to no avail.
   4. At the 9 Burpee mark, YHC tried once again to be merciful and even quoted 300 again.  But no one could remember, “This will not be over quickly and you will not enjoy it.”  @Bootstrap claimed he thought YHC was still referring to the workout and hadn’t started the quote.  Still a #FAIL.

THE MOLESKIN:

1. Great work this morning men.  The 4 corners of the school alone were 1100 reps.  And YHC is pretty sure he has never laughed while Qing as much as he did once the mutiny was complete.  And it’s true that some things look better on paper than in practice.
2. Tclaps to @ONJ for calling out YHC’s form on Burpees.  And @MajorPain correctly assessed that when @ONJ is calling you out on form, it’s really bad!
3. The PAX made the assumption there will be a Murph on Monday.
4. @Bootstrap was pretty happy to be the @WarBaby.
5. @Murdock offered up thanks to wrap it up!
