Ringing in the New Year with 2015 REPS

F3 Bootcamp 1.1.15

Happy New Year F3!  19 men from Highlands, Rolling Stone and Tradition took their party hats off and jumped out of 2014 and right into a little 2015 F3 madness.  When I put this workout on paper I wasn’t thinking about time, or all of the suck it would bring. I was targeting a certain number, 2015.  One thing I knew is that I wasn’t going to be able to count this cadence by myself.  Ask a brother… Hey Chowder what do you think about this?  Chowder’s response…”Hmm…34 reps per minute. Yikes.”  BOS – “Hmm…didn’t do the math on that one. Back to the drawing board.”  Chowder- “Hey still possible…just tough.  But we do hard things for no reason at all.”  That is all it takes in F3.  One Brother to tell another that we can do it!  2014 was a tough year for many of us and 2015 will do its best to knock us around as life does.  But there is one thing that I have learned in my almost two years in F3 is that we can manhandle more than we ever imagined.  Especially when we do it together!

Now to the workout.  With four flags planted firmly in the frosty ground and my three co-Qs we got right to work.  Thank you to Magma, Skipper and Chowder for playing along this morning and helping me Q.  After a quick disclaimer, grab our flags and mosey to the tennis courts.  Plant the flags and get to work.  We have lots to do in an hour.  2015 Reps to be exact!

There was a lot of chatter this morning.  I think Dingo and Forgotten Jelly talked all the way through the workout.  Must have been easy.  BS calls came out in strange places.  Apparently Pharaoh does not like the Squirm.  Especially if he is sporting his new Tradition Mudgear jacket.  Mountain Climbers are only fun in moderation. Apollo Ohnos do not look good on some people and Burpees still suck.

It was fun assembling this workout.  Experiencing it was good too because you guys were suffering along with me.   Happy New Year to all, I look forward to seeing what F3 will do for each of us in 2015.

    Welcome 2015! Thank you to my CoQs. I never would have made it through that workout if I had to count all those reps. Especially with my new stuttering problem.

    @Pax – T-Claps for starting the new year off right! I was up late (like most of you) and I wanted to fart sack (like many did), but I knew that my dedicated F3 brothers would show this morning and I didn’t want to miss. Happy New Year!
