WARMUP: mosey around the lot with some side shuffle, butt kickers, high knees, karaoke the circle up for some SSH, WM, Peanut pickers, tempo merkins, Mtn climbers, arm circles. Mosied back to the alcove.

THE THANG: Split up the pax into 2 groups for a jeopardy-style name that tune competition. The Pax could select from 5 decades, 70’s – 2010’s, with point values ranging from 100-900. Each card had and exercise and a rep count. 15 seconds of a song from the selected decade was played and the song title and artist must be given correctly to earn the points and do a lower rep count and make the opposing team do higher rep count. If any part of the answer is incorrect, the higher rep count must be done and the opposing team does the lower rep count and has a chance to steal the points with a correct answer.
The strategies were mixed among the teams, to stick with the decades that they were familiar with or to go with the higher point values. Most risked it, opting for higher point values but in more recent decades that the pax may not be as familiar with. (Many of us seemed to be stuck in the 90’s.
Exercises included: lawn mowers, swings, cleans, revolutions, snatch, LB crunch, goblet squats, step back pass throughs, sumo squats, chest press, etc…

Team: Life alert, school bus, heatstroke, Manwich, and remy took the win. The opponents gave a strong effort, and came close to a come back with a final jeopardy selection, but Shooter and team couldn’t seal the deal with a correct artist last name for the 80’s Maniac, by Michael Sembello.

Great job by all. The pax were pretty good with mostly correct answers. Song title technicalities were a hitch for some. We only made the through half the board, so name that tune will return again.
