A bit of unanticipated rain wasn’t an issue, a slightly crowded PoxBox due to the ping pong table being setup wasn’t a problem. A near record 8 stoners arriving (on their own schedule) wasn’t a problem either. It was all great problems to have on a gloomy morning in the gloom. YHQ had a hero WOD planned but based on numbers modified to a partner WOD. Our quads were all thankful for that. It went down like this

WARMUP: SSHx10, X cross applesauce x10, w/light KB 10 each DL, goblet squat, one arm swings … Repeto

THE THANG: “the FUHRMANNATOR modified for 2”

7 rounds for time with a partner (one works at a time)

5 burpees
10 heavy KB swings (53 or what you have)

Awesome numbers this am, I think the partner turned out more fun than the original and our quads will probably be more happy too. Great to have heatstroke arise for the occasion and good to have Vespa-Odell back. Sorry for the thruster audible, next week no thrusters but since we’ve had a few weeks without running no guarantees on that, sorry ti Always a pleasure to lead the stoners. I’m traveling next week but will be back for Friday at the PoxBox. I’m until then, SYITG !!!
