November Highlands Murph
All BackBlasts BackblastsNovember 25th, 2019
Five PAX decided to open up Thanksgiving week the right way and hit the Murph on a chilly November morning, which honors the memory of Navy Seal Lt. Michael Patrick Murphy, who was killed in Afghanistan on June 28, 2005.
@DutchBoy aptly reminded your truly “We doing this?” at 5:31 AM, since me and @Charmin were engaged in some deep dialogue about current high school basketball.
A brief WARMARAMA to get the blood flowing: Side-Straddle Hops, Imperial Storm Troopers, and Cotton Pickers (all in cadence).
MURPH:
- Run one mile, returning to the HCSC playground
- 10 Pull Ups
- 20 Merkins
- 30 Air Squats
- Repeat exercises ten times
- Run one mile, returning to the HCSC parking lot

MOLESKIN
- Great work today, gentlemen. @DutchBoy set the pace, as expected. Definitely strong efforts demonstrated by everyone.
- We open up the week of Thanksgiving by doing exactly that: Giving Thanks. We are all so blessed, but we need to keep in mind those who are not as blessed as we are.
- Prayers of gratitude for those who defend our freedoms and keep us safe, both domestic and abroad. Prayers for those who are not able to be with their families this holiday season and furthermore, prayers for those who have been lost in service.
- Wishing safe travels to anyone heading out this week.
