A Rockin’ Workout
All All MECA BackblastsJanuary 31st, 2016
18 PAX showed up at Mallard Creek Park on a chilly, 28 degree Saturday Morning to join YHC for a little Saturday morning ramble around the park. I had not yet contributed to the lead at MCP so I figured it was my turn. I also figured I’d share a bit of Stoner Love with those who showed up. And it went something like this…..
Mosey to the lot up the hill.
SSH x 15
Cotton Pickers x 15
Windmills x 15
Imperial Squat Walkers x 15
Merkins x 15
Mosey to hill atop soccer fields and Bear Crawl the distance to the rock ditch. Each PAX selects a ‘companion’ for the remainder of the workout.
Mosey to the split rail fence and drop your rock (rocks needed a break)
Partner up for top rail Suicide Merkins and Dips. 10, 15, 20 ea.
Indian Run to the school with rocks
Partner up for a little Rock Work Grinder – P1 exercises while P2 runs to last BB goal and back.
50 rock squats – 100 Overhead presses – 150 Curls (combined)
Mosey to wall
P1 – Peoples chair (with rock of course) P2 – Rock lunges x 10 ea leg. Repeato x 3
Mosey to lot and circle up on 6 for more rock work
Chest presses x 15
Skull crushers x 15
Rock LBCs x 15
Repeato x 10 ea
Repeato x 15 ea
Mosey to shelter
P1 Rock step ups, P2 runs to last light pole for 5 Burpees. Repeato x 3
Rocks are tired from all of the work so mosey back to Rock ditch to put the rocks back to bed.
Mosey/Bear Crawl (a bit of OCD requires we finish like we started) back to Shovel Flag. Circle up for Mary.
Homer to Marge with some Low Flutter, Low Dollys, Rosalitas and 10 counts mixed in!
Moleskin:

Thanks to all who show up and thanks for following my lead, MCP is one of my favorite workouts and it was a pleasure to finally lead one!
@Sugar Good workout! I have missed my rock today, since we became so close yesterday. Was fully expecting a full bear crawl back to Mary, so the half distance was a pleasant surprise.
Great job sugar. Way to share the love…I had a feeling bear crawls would be involved.
