Q Control Issues

All All MECA Backblasts

November 14th, 2015 By Alcatraz

10 men stepped into a bright mid 30s morning for a little #downPAINment to start their day.  No one had signed up to Q so YHC agreed to start things off.  The plan was to let others from the PAX take the lead at some point.  Shovel flag, planted, disclaimer given and the mosey began.

The PAX made their way towards the high school and held up @Conchito pulling into the parking lot.  The rumor is he was late because he couldn’t find his toboggan.  It was rare to see his hair on a day below 50.  Circled up for…

WARMARAMA:

Moseyed to the tennis courts for…

THE THANG:

3 rounds completed

Mosey to the loading dock and pair up

Partner 1 runs and jumps up loading dock and back down ramp while Partner 2 starts the exercises.  Switch until all are completed.

The PAX gathered around the picnic tables for the following…

Reverse Indian Run around the parking lot (runner in the front sprints around the medians the PAX is slow moseying around until runner reaches the back of the PAX)

Climb wall around the dumpsters putting foot on top of the wall 10 times.

Peoples Chair with 20 Air Press IC

Mosey to consession stand and partner up for a little partner run and switch for the following…

Since YHC evidently has control issues and couldn’t relinquish the Q during the beatdown, the PAX enjoyed…

PAX LEAD MARY:

COT and BOM!

THE CONTROL FREAK MOLESKIN:

  1. Nice work today from every man!  Many from F3 Nation were at Thunder Road or the Spartan Race, but those who showed at MCP represented well.
  2. Highlands, Skywalker and Rolling Stone will have a Christmas Party on Dec 11 at the Sweet Spot.  Tradition will do theirs on Dec 5 at Carolina Ale House.  Evidently having a slide show is a big deal for @Major Pain.
  3. The Reverse Indian Run was much harder than YHC remembered.
  4. YHC promises to work on his control issues.  But with 4 women in the house, YHC was just happy to be in charge of something!

Always an honor to lead the PAX!

  1. Your long lost brother… hasn’t exactly returned… No AO within an hour of my new home in Peachtree City, GA, so this morning, I decided to create my own. I posted to “The Glenloch Rec Center”, so if we establish an AO here, I may call it something like “Loch Ness”, in the spirit of my Highlands F3 roots.
I managed to post solo (does that count as a post?) what was for me a reasonable “Thang”:
    500m mosey to the AO
    200m jog around parking lot

    15 x Windmills
    20 x Prisoner Squats
    25 x Merkins (OYO… ya think?)

Naked Moleskin: I miss the PAX, the thought of spinning up a “Loch Ness” AO is something that I want to do. I’ll be in touch.

    Grace and peace… RedRyder

    1. Way to represent RedRyder! You are missed in the PAX as well. I have no doubt you can launch Loch Ness. I believe the website may have someone to contact if you are looking for any tips or help launching a new AO.

Grace and peace to you as well.
