August Old Glory
All All MECA BackblastsAugust 6th, 2015
16 men ventured into the muggy gloom not sure what to expect. Their Q was no where in sight. Being Men of Action, they took it upon themselves to warm up without him. Five minutes into the workout, YHC comes screeching into the AO, takes the helm, mumbles some incoherent instructions, and initiates this month’s edition of Harrisburg’s Old Glory.
Warm Up
I assume some variation of Side Straddle Hops, Windmills, Imperial Storm Troopers, and Merkins.
The Thang
One Mile Run (AYG): Start at the Stadium, up Raging Ridge Road to the Stop sign and back to the Shovel Flag.

- Station 4: 20 WWII Sit-ups

Thanks for making me stronger
Nice guys. Always fun to see others doing old glory.
I think we all knew what was on the schedule today. We started down the lane on the first mile. Then @Bull made the call that if the Q’s not here, it makes sense to do our own thing. I agreed. Randorama was averted by the speed bump jumps of the Altima.
Strong work out there today! That is a solid workout.
Kotters Jazz! Great to see you back out.
I guess I spent a little too much time in one spot, stopping for a warm-up. YHC was formulating a plan to hijack the entire work out. I guess I got distracted by the big air under the Altima and sparks flying as it hopped over the speed bumps with ease. Next time, we can make it a little tougher to find the PAX.
@Solo Cup – Thanks for sticking to it. I hope the extry 10 minutes of beauty sleep pays off.
@Swami – Nice running with you this morning. It was fun while it lasted.
I was coming in a little hot. Don’t worry, there won’t be a next time
@Solocup – I think the “Dukes of Hazzard” is holding auditions for drivers for the General Lee! or for the casting of Uncle Jesse, not really sure. Great entrance, next time I want to see you engage the emergency brake and “drift” around the corner.
Great work by all today, yes-Kotters @Jazz! Good to see @Oz there too. @Tabasco is getting stronger as well – remember where you were 1 year ago today?
Looking forward to participating in the next “Old Glory”
