Day 11 of the MeCa MEGA Q began with moans. Grumblings of we are up here in this country club of green and we’re going to do the hot, humid, stagnant air parking garage?! YUP, we are.

90s rock played, F3 stickers were shared (ask Chopsaw for one), and weakness aka sweat left our bodies in droves. Definitely a day to bring a change of shirts.

After the “Buy In”, it was time to get to work. I believe every unfortunate soul pulled a heart, that was just plain bad luck. No one had it worse than Schnitzel who drew an Ace of Hearts….ouch. But I think Katniss and Chopsaw came close when they pulled Diamonds after Hearts…

Afterwards in Coffeeteria Katy Perry and Teller shamefully joined without earning it but they were a welcome addition as they shared tales of adventure, especially Katy Perry who shared the black market dealings of the fireworks industry. Strategies of getting a pull up bar added while avoiding jail time were also plotted.

COT: Isaac is getting heart surgery (Katniss’ nephew), Taylor (Katniss’ wife), Katie is having some UTI struggles. There are also many I’ve met on this MEGA Q that are struggling with addictions like pornography, cancer in its various forms and stages, brothers and sisters in Venezuela, marriage challenges and traveling. There were also praises shared on seeing kiddos grow this summer with camps and hobbies. Katniss also shared his experience and appreciation for F3 carrying him and giving him an outlet to get “roided out” during the discovery of his wife’s brain tumor. F3 is not just some workout group, if you need that, there’s a gym out there for you, we’re a Brotherly Order of Beastly Studs who are there for lifes ups and downs.
