THE THANG: Mosey to Dale for the Benchwarmer. Six exercises performed on the brick wall surrounding Dale followed by a half lap. Start with one rep of each and increase the reps after each HALF lap. Exercises were step ups (left-right equals 1), squats, inclined Merkins, dips, RBCs, DECLINE Merkins.

After everyone finished the round of 10, and some had completed extra rounds, YHC realized we do this a lot faster together than he does alone. So, the make something up as we go part started. Lie down on the end of section of wall so that your legs can hang. 15 Flutter kicks, 15 Hello Dollies, 15 LBCs.

Mosey back to the AO for…

MARY: After many mentions that we should do more stretching, we finally left a little time for stretching, about 5 mins worth. It was good.

ANNOUNCEMENTS: Dam2Dam next Saturday. Those participating may not show next Friday.

COT: We lifted up Ruthie for our Concord brother Mayhem. God’s got this.

Guys, I just want you to know that we are in a special group. Not Kannon, though I am partial to our AO, but this F3 organization. I am involved in the men’s ministry at our church, and you would be surprised at how many guys feel like it is them against world, alone. It is truly a blessing to have a group of guys to share life with, to bounce ideas off of, and to cut us down when we are getting a little too full of ourselves. We call this a coffee group that just exercises until the coffee shop opens, but really, we are a brotherhood. We all have our roles, some push, some encourage, some guide, some insult, but we all are needed, and if you don’t show up, you are missed. We all need days, sometimes weeks, off, but don’t neglect this group. Iron Sharpens Iron, but only when they make contact with each other. It was great to have an FNG today, he seems like a great guy and I hope he joins the fold. I hope he is only the first of many more.
