On my 38th Bday I did a lot of reflection on where I’m at, where I’m going and of course where I have been.

If anyone ever wondered why YHC is an odd man… 1st know that I only PARTIALLY try to be odd. My students and kids I work with respond well when I say and do weird things. 8 years of teaching and 20 years of volunteering/working with kids equals a lot of weirdness.

The rest of the weirdness could be a west coast cultural difference, my carreer choice difference, my interests, etc.

But the real reason is that i listened to waaaaaay too much Weird Al Yankovic. So, with that in mind, we listened to Weird Al on my portable PA system during the workout.

WARMUP:
38 ssh
38 merkins
Warm up to the 16’s (for august 16th)
Imperial Storm troopers, Windmills, etc.

THE THANG:
38 Incline Merkins on benches
Step ups with jazz hands

Mosey to get out the plates (2-3 per man)

OYO ladders, 3-8, with bear crawls in between:
Squat press and star jumps
Curls with 3 plates and jump lunges

Sprint around the building
