ANNOUNCEMENTS:
- Good luck to our Time Laps team this weekend. Wishing you guys some favorable weather, fast miles and no injuries.
- King Tiger 5K on 6/1. Sign-up here (discount code is F32019).
- Two service projects on the horizon: Adopt-a-Park deck rebuild is still to be scheduled – watch for news on this from @Wexler. Also a work day is being planned for the Orphanage, I believe the date is being hammered out by @Kojak at this time.
- @Deuce is Q’ing the Ridge on 5/28 in his farewell post. Deuce’s Doom in the Gloom – sounds like something you won’t want to miss.
MOLESKINE:
Great run this morning. Weather conditions were basically ideal, and we had a really evenly-paced group that hung around 8-8:15 paces (@Scooter had to run with the governor on but he didn’t seem to mind).
This was a special #RoadWarrior for a few reasons. First, @Clueless ran it with us, claiming he needed some cardio after traveling this week. Second, @Flash made an appearance – maybe his first since the last time I Q’d #RoadWarrior about six weeks ago. Then, our dear MECA leader @Heatstroke was in the ‘Burg for some ruck training with @Gapper, and stopped in briefly during COT. And finally, our estranged brother @Deuce was in the fold for what will be one of his final Harrisburg posts (see the above announcement for more). It was a special group this morning, and made for a really enjoyable run.
Good luck to our Time Laps runners this weekend. You guys have looked strong in boot camps recently, have fun and stay off the DL.
