8 men took the MERICA challenge and are better for it.  YHC tried to come up with a unique challenge for White Lightning to make it different and bring a specific challenge to the Pax.  MERICA theme was created.  Time will tell if it will stay around or if we find a better challenge idea at White Lightning.

It was 21 degrees with a 6 mph wind at the start.  YHC wasn’t sure how many people would show in the cold and the morning after NFL playoffs, but the Pax didn’t disappoint.  Appreciate you guys showing up.  I’d never be doing this stuff alone.

The workout went like this.

M – Mile run

E – Elevens ladder.  Plank jacks at the far bottom of one of the bridges, burpees at the top

R – Reverse crunch x 100

I – Inch worm, like Indian run, but with Bear crawl.  The line moved slowly while last pax bear crawled fast to the front

C – Catch me if you can.  At the far bottom of the bridge, one partner backward-run up the hill to the bridge, other partner does 5 mericans

A – Alligator mericans.  After a mosey back to the last light pole, do a merican with one leg up to the side, then switch as you slowly alligator crawl over to the cars.
