Under the Bridge
All Harrisburg BackblastsOctober 8th, 2018
An even 10 found their way to the Speedway for an early shot of #WhiteLightning. Unfortunately, there was no chaser to soften the blow.
Of note, this group should not try math at 0525 on a Monday morning….8 men and 10 cars caused a little confusion, but off we went anyway towards the Morehead bridge.
Stop at the top of the ramp at the frontage road
#disclaimer
3 Yurpees
Mountain Climbers x20
Air Squats x10
Continue down the road to the bottom of the ramp under the bridge.
10 Burpees at the bottom, backward run to the top (~125yards), 1 Jump Squat, run back down.
Continue up and down the ladder from 10/1 to 1/10…although we cut it a little short in the interest of time.
Still under Morehead, pair up. P1 does People Chair w/Air Presses while P2 planks. Switch whenever you see fit until the team gets a cumulative 500 Air Presses.
Jail Break to the top by the stop sign.
LBCs x30
Indian Run back up the frontage road to the top of the short ramp.
10 Reverse Crunches at the top, 1 Hand Release Merican at the bottom; continue to 1/10
Circle up for Flutter Kicks x30
Recover for COT
140 Proof Moleskin
1. Solid work this morning. Thanks for coming out.
2. Tclaps to the TBone and Clueless for the pre-run…glad you found us!
3. Welcome Solo Cup back from his DC tour…shaking hands and collecting awards. One could say this workout was his fault. Before launch, he asked if we were going to the tri-oval, the entrance ramps of the overpasses (since we often head to one of those three spots). In a slight act of defiance, we went the opposite way…to the bridge.
4. Strong work/words by Wexler following Saturday’s event and the impact of conversations with cancer survivors. Another Speed for Need event next weekend – Hit the Brixx.
5. Rerun is fast.
6. Wait, when did Terrible Towel turn 30?!?
7. Coincidentally, Kiedis wrote these lyrics (initially as a poem) about loneliness and finding some comfort in walking around the streets of LA. Sure sounds like F3 would have been a perfect cure. That said, one can still feel lonely in a crowd. Wexler reminded me afterwards of a QSource discussion we had recently about working out with each each other versus a bunch of guys working out in the same place. You never know what’s going on with someone until you talk to them, so give it a shot (but keep working out of course!).

Thanks for coming out.
Great to be back out. You really notice the difference out there after two weeks of being gone. It was tough! Thank you for your leadership
