Four posted at Warrior One to stretch and recover…three recovering from some early Pitchfork running, and one recovering from a two-month winery tour through South Africa. One of us has been having more fun than the other three….

Start with some light stretching head to toe.
Core work including Yurpees, 5-count Mericans/Squats/Sit-Ups.
Then into deep stretching of the legs, hips, back, shoulders and arms.
Dead-hangs and V-ups over on the pull-up bars, then back for more Yurpees and balance work

1. Good to have a couple of the Warrior One vets back. In your absence, we’ve been making stuff up….but back to things that actually have names (even if I don’t know them).

2. Gotta love the we’re-not-getting-any-younger groans when the stretching first starts.

3. Thanks to Clueless for pull-up bar suggestion and finishing us off with the balance work. #professional

4. Welcome back to Helga. Not sure what a “safari-themed” WarriorOne Q looks like, but we’ll see next week. The hyena noises in the distance brought back memories from his trip. As well as gunshot and siren noises from his days living in DC.

5. Strong work by Wexler, getting two full Pitchfork laps in (I believe?) before joining us….but no, we won’t start over.

6. Partial credit to Banjo Boy for joining us at the end. “Did you run early?” “Nope, just quit early.” But still 42 minutes more running than all those who were still in bed.

7. Still wonder what the pool guy thinks when he pulls up to 13 cars in the parking lot and 4 guys laying on the ground. I’m sure it includes “Don’t make eye contact…don’t make eye contact…”

8. One more week at Abbington Pool before the runners crush BRR, then Road Warrior and Warrior One return to Town Hall.
