The Murph @ the mill

All Kannon Backblasts

February 2nd, 2018 By amway

15 men showed up on a Red Friday to pay respect to Lt. Michael Murphy, a Navy Seal killed in action in 2005. This workout was one of Mike’s favorites and he’d named it “Body Armor”. We refer to it as “Murph” in honor of him!

The Thang:

A 1 mile run, followed by 100 pull ups, 200 pushups, and 300 unweighted squats, followed by another 1-mile run.

Mary:

Firechicken and Kojak led us through 3 core exercises, unfortunately Q was too tired to remember them.  LOL

Moleskin:

Everyone pushed incredibly hard during the workout, however I’d like to give credit to the following guys for bringing their A game today.

COT:

It was truly an honor to lead you men today, it’s more than just a workout!

Until next time,

Rooster

  1. Brother I had no intention of strapping on my ruck until I saw you with your weighted vest on so thank YOU!!! Always good to get a sense of how Lt Murphy would roll.

Strong group of guys there at Kannon!!! Also lots of beatdown locations in the area.
