8 heavily layered Pax showed up to brave the frigid 19 degree temperature this morning. Wind was blowing a bit so if felt much colder when running!! YHC is keeping to his New Year’s resolution and when Buckwheat’s pesky job interfered with his more important job of Comanche Q I happily volunteered Sizzlean to co-Q with me.  We exchanged a couple of text’s about a circuit over at the high school but not much more so we were set to wing it and make the best of it.  I had been fighting a pesky chest cold and cough so i figured I had to freeze have that mucous so I could spit it out and no better venue that a cold Comanche Beatdown.  After a brief but thorough disclaimer we started off.

The Thing

Pax was a little late arriving today so after a short mosey around the parking lot we were joined by Robin’s Nest and Buckwheat.  Warm-o-Rama

Announcements

• Either Robin’s Nest or Chicken Coop will lead The Joint on Friday

• Mineshaft debut is on the UNCC Campus this Saturday at 7:00 AM.  Look for Clown Car Options on slack.  Our own Buckwheat has previewed the location and indicated that it has a lot of pain opportunities to offer!  Will be a big convergence so come out and see all your F3 Bretheren!
• Although Iron Thunder is TEMPORARILY shut down some PAX are still meeting up at Christenbury Manor house for some warmer weigh lifting.
• We were all worried about our Comanche Iron Man (Robin’s Nest) as 5:30 approached – -no like him to miss or even be late.  Turn’s out he truly is an Iron man because he came out even while nursing a painful foot injury — Way to go Brother!
• Softwood is still 100% — how long can he keep it up?
• I introduced the concept of War Baby (youngest member of Pax) and War Daddy (oldest member of Pax).  We used to do this in the early days of Highlands some 6 yrs ago!!
