Stroll down memory lane
All Harrisburg BackblastsOctober 18th, 2017
There are a few of us “From Harrisburg” around town. It isn’t that a lot left, it is that we have been outnumbered. Not that I can blame you. It is a little slice of paradise. Today was a stroll down memory lane for YHC. Good times… both past, present and future.
I wasn’t sure if @solocup was serious about signing me up to Q Road Warrior until he didn’t show up this morning. It’s cool though. I know a route or two. Today it was made up on the fly. Four of us mostly stuck together and headed into Ye Olde Harrisburg.
From Town Center, across to Parallel, left on School, right on Morris, right on Morehead, left on Hillcrest. Go to the cul-de-sac, try not to run over @exit54 as he makes a pit stop, left on Willow, left on Whitefield Ct, turn around at the cul-de-sac, left on Willow. Cross Morehead to Ridge Rd, left on Patricia and then right on Oakside. Right on Morehead, right on Patricia. Left on Parallel, dodge some traffic and head back to the LP. Suck in your gut as the Burners head out and stop, just a minute late.
Everyone got around 5 miles. Got warm about 2 miles in…
Frosty Moleskin:
- Thanks for coming out and playing along.
- Good memories on Hillcrest… Music parties as a kid (blues in the basement, bluegrass in the living room, zydeco on the porch…a Hoedown!), running with great guys as an adult. Just random happy snippets on Patricia as a kid, ready to get back to the LP as an adult.
- Santa Scramble in Concord. Look it up, sign up. If you can do a boot camp, you can run a 5k.
- Continued prayers and thanksgiving for @Wexler’s mom. Each day is a gift. The good ones are even more special.
- I guess we skipped fall and went straight to winter. Toughen up and come on out.
Banjo boy…out

Thanks for “taking” the lead. I had another early morning commitment.
Snuggles are important too.
Good lead, @Banjo. 14 years here and I don’t think I’ve ever been in that neighborhood. Glad I was able to stop short of @Exit54 as well….lot of momentum coming down that steep hill!
And as always, thanks for circling back for me. Did my best to keep up so you didn’t have to, but have a ways to go.
You were way faster than solo cup.
