The Petit Le Mans at Road Atlanta and the 500 running this weekend down the street had YHC in the mood to race. Given that the next autocross isn’t until the 21st, a race inspired Beatdown would need to do. Cones were setup, the drivers meeting was held to go over the disclaimer. Given that it’s 10/10/2017, these numbers played a part in today’s race..umm beatdown.

The Race

Mosey to Cinder Blocks, grab a block and follow YHC. Dropped Block at top of Hate Hill. Gather at the bottom of the hill in grass at the Start/Finish line. The race will consist of 7 laps with one Joker lap.

• At start/finish 10 Merkins
• Slalom cones up the hill in bear crawl
• Twenty curls at top with block
• Race (run) down hate hill to sidewalk to do 20 LBC then back to start/ finish
• Racers had 1 joker lap out of the 7 laps (turn right at first light pole – cut out running and a set of LBC’s)

I’m happy to report that while some bumping and rubbing occurred during the slaloming,  it appeared that all of the drivers survived pretty much in tacit. We picked up the blocks. Did a slow walk down hate hill while YHC called up block down block to overhead until we had circled up at the blocks home. At block home we did a little circle block..and then put the blocks away for another day.

Great work today men. Thank you for “racing” with me this morning! Chicken coop is looking for a Comanche contingent to hit Traditions for Red Friday, and I said I would smoke The Joint if he got a critical mass to go – so The Joint will be a go either way.

 

Buckwheat-thanks for coordination of mass shirt order. Hammer took a poll to find out who ordered long sleeve shirts…he expects all of those guys to keep posting all winter!
