7 PAX and a dog took the Red Pill this am (well maybe not the dog, but who knows, it is Sugar we are talking about) and entered the gloom, some for a cruise and a couple for a ruck.  Project (with my borrowed ruck as he awaits his,) Sugar and Rogue split off for their ruck, while the rest of us took off on our cruise.

We ran the Greenway and the cutouts.  Up and back (about 3 miles at that point.) We stayed together for the whole outbound trip, but started to separate on the inbound. FNG Shawn was asked about himself for naming purposes, he said he was a “horse dad,” that should be helpful.  PAX had option of turning left (more cruise time) or right (back to the lot) at the entrance of the greenway back at the schools.  FNG Shawn and YHC made the left turn, while the rest took the right.  Not that I am a runner guy, but I have started to keep a pretty good pace, and FNG Shawn had no trouble keeping up, great job!  About 4 miles or so for FNG Shawn and YHC, and about 3 and change for the rest.

We had some time left so we knocked out some Mary: Low Flutters, Dying Cockroaches, Pretzel crunches and LBCs.  Recover, recover.

0615 and Project and Sugar emerge from the Greenway in a mosey.  Project was feeling the mosey as this was his first ruck experience of any kind (congrats!)  Good prep for this weekend’s Brewruck.

COT: Convergence Friday at Skywalker, no Bell Buster.  Brewruck this Saturday at 8am in Huntersville.  Prayers for quick recovery for Fire Chicken and POX…and Schnitzel for that matter.

Moleskin:  Welcome to FNG Shawn!  I go to church with Shawn, really good guy, he will fit in well here.  He is HC (Hard Commit – meaning – will definitely be there) for tomorrow and will get his name.   I might have another FNG out there tomorrow, we will see.  Good crowd for our cruise today, might not be a bad idea to have a cruise/ruck combo to get folks out on Wednesdays.  Great job by everyone this morning!  Let’s continue to keep motivating each other to get better in and out of the gloom.

    Hey, when you don’t feel like running, strap some weight on and Ruck! That’s how it went for me and all I had to do for Rogue was reach for the leash! Nice combo for sure and nice knowing there’s more than two of us out there!

    Thanks for getting the BB Heatstroke and also looking forward to Shawn’s first Boot Camp experience although it should be pretty easy!! 😮

    At the top of the hill there was a Red Pill (Left) or Blue Pill (Right). FTR – JB did extra Mary.
