Didn’t seem that humid when we started…
All All MECA BackblastsJuly 6th, 2017
10 figured it out as we went….and I believe the consensus was it sucked. To the best of my recollection, it went something like this:
Disclaimer was discussed, debated then understood.
Warm-up
High Knees in place
Butt Kickers in place
5 Yurpees
Jog to the end of the lot and towards the school. At the next lot, basketball weave through the parking lines the length of the lot, switching directions half-way across.
The On-The-Fly Thang
Line up on the curb.
25 Curb Jumps
Plank on the curb until all are finished
5 Mericans at 12:00, rotate to 3:00, 5 more Mericans, repeat at 6:00, 9:00 and again at 12:00
Repeat Curb Jumps and Merican Clock
Back to the lot. Lunge Walk to the first island, doing one Jump Squat at every parking line (9 stops). Bear Crawl to the next island, doing one Merican at every parking line (9 stops). As you finish each section, run back to the last guy and finish with the six.
Over to the Great Wall.

People’s Chair w/Air Presses x20
Donkey Kicks x10
People’s Chair w/Air Presses x20
Donkey Kicks x10
People’s Chair w/Slow Air Presses x10
Slow Donkey Kicks x5
Back out to the lot for 2-Line Suicides
Sprint 2 lines, 1 Burpee, Backward Run 1 line, 1 Burpee, Sprint 2 lines, 1 Burpee, Backward Run 1 line, 1 Burpee…..until the end of the lot. Repeat coming back with 2 Jump Squats at every line. Just for good measure, one more Suicide – Sprint 2 lines and back, then 4 lines and back, then 5 lines and back. As you finish each round, run back to the last guy so we finish as a group.
Back to the island to finish what we started.
Bear Crawl to the first island with a Merican at every parking line, then Lunge Walk to the next island with a Jump Squat at every parking line. Again, as you finish each section, run back to the last guy and finish with the six.
To the Curb for two rounds of 25 Curb Jumps and a Merican Clock (5 Mericans at 12:00, 9:00, 6:00, 3:00 and 12:00)
Cool-down jog back to the cars, then circle up. Just to finish off the shoulders, Seal Claps x35
Mary
LBCs x25
Flutter Kicks x35
Pretzel Crunches x12

1. Thanks for playing along. As I said, today is proof even the slow guys can lead a workout!
2. Great to see HoneyDo back in action. Between summer break and a new job for the M, I’m sure The Ridge and Dawg House will be seeing a lot of him.
3. My new goal is to always put in as much effort as Creep does. Modifies when necessary, but never. stops. moving.
4. Papa John and Kojak killing it as usual, and Banjo Boy proving once again he and Solo Cup are never in the same place at the same time. Who is scared of whom? Either way, we had the nice one today.
5. Flip Phone attempted the flying EH only to discover after about a half-mile of chasing that the guy had head phones on and couldn’t hear him. I think he’ll just go for the takedown next time.
6. Thought for a moment that Bull was human as he skipped his usual pre-workout run…but that was only because he did Re-Dorado last night. By himself. In the driving rain.
7. I can see the wheels turning in Kotter….one of these days he’s going to lead a workout and just crush us all.
8. Strong effort by BurVegas as well, and tclaps for embracing the workout-owner role, already working on Qs for the next couple Tuesdays!
Cheers!

Thanks for being out there. There’s definitely motivation to work harder when you Q. I think it’s partially the adrenaline, but mostly just the honor of leading such a solid group of men.
Had to be at work at 0630. Wish I could have been there.
It’s a busy time of year for training folks on Plastics.
Thanks for stepping up to lead.
Sounds like you need a new job.
Good lead, @Gamma. One good thing about Qing many times is being able to create a good workout on the fly. That was a tough one.
I’ll catch that guy next time. He kept looking around like what’s going on, but didn’t answer.
Yep Gamma on that first mosey the adrenaline was definitely kicking cuz you were moooving.
Suicides after the half hour of people chair was just brutal!!!
I was dripping sweat by the start of curb jumps. Humidity definitely took over but a good one on the fly.
Also thanks for the contribution to the State Fund.
Didn’t seem humid at all when I was doing my Michael Phelps imitation in the Settlements pool this morning… #TryNotToDrown
This post, on the other hand, looks awful…
