All All MECA Backblasts

June 21st, 2017 By BanjoBoy

The Grand Poo-Bah of F3 Harrisburg pleaded with YHC earlier in the week to pick up a workout, knowing that this was the most difficult* to plan and write the Backblast.  YHC picked it up, despite the challenge.  My excitement only increased* as I opened the front door to hear the white noise of a light rain.  It excited 11 others but not as much as @Gapper’s dog. That was a seriously happy dog.

Rolling in a little early, I was a little surprised to see @Bull and @BBQ.  Not so much to see @SidVicious and “The Guy” who sleeps in the car.  The Guy didn’t appear to be disturbed to hear a little light conversation (maybe it was the white noise) so we set out, only to return to a full lot and a reckless but well prepared Goon-dock transplant (Goonies never say die, or leave a rut after driving through the garden).

Wheels up at 0530.  No newbies so you knew what to do. Enjoy the elevation and let the rain keep the stink to a minimum.  1.9 miles and 234 ft of elevation gain per fork.  2-5(?) forks per Pax, depending on start time. Maybe more.  There are some fast guys out there.  All pushed their limits and are better for it.

  1. Kilt it…Thanks for stepping up.

I actually found myself wishing I was out there this morning.

  2. Thanks guys. I think the rain made it easier…

  3. If you got to live with me you’d be that happy* too.

  4. Thanks for leading, @BanjoBoy. I thought I was using my inside humming voice. Guess not.

If that dude is sleeping in his car again next week, we may have to EH him. Or relocate his car….we need the parking spot!

  5. I really did not miss you guys this morning. #YMCAdryrun
