Bell Bustin’ to a 45Q

All All MECA Backblasts

June 19th, 2017 By Heatstroke

What do you get when you have a Q who is going on vacation later in the morning, does not want to plan the workout and also does not want to creatively wing it? A 45 Q using a Kettlebell app on your phone. 5 PAX arrived and willingly subjected themselves to this thoroughly half-@ssed lead. Disclaimer given and off we went.

Warmarama: small mosey, ssh, merkins, mc, ist, inverted hammy stretch (my only bit of creativity this am)

The Thang: Clock read 0537, so set app to run for 35 minutes for minimal Mary. Exercise largely consisted of 40 seconds of work, followed by 10-15 seconds of rest. I started by calling/demonstrating exercises but eventually 45d that as well and gave way to the pleasant female voice guiding our exercise. We performed a wide variety of exercises from swings, presses, curls, extensions, squats, etc. The suck factor was rather high, thanks in no small part to the 100% humidity we had to endure. Sparknut split for work around 0605. The app continued to spit out exercises even as the clock read 0613. I called for Mary and let the app run wondering when it would finish.

Mary: MT was done during app, so pretzel crunch and lbc to finish

Moleskin: YHC’s mind and body was already on vacation this am. Mark me done for a 45 for the Q and the effort. I even had to be informed that the shovel flag was in fact in my trunk when I inquired as to where it might be. Oh, the things one will do to avoid a #bellnado. Happy to get the work in though. Did not even glance at BR and BG today. Nice work by Sparknut and Kilowatt getting after the rage brothers. Good having 3 out again, Project is getting after it with the HEC just beginning doing ssh during rest periods. App needs work on keeping time, finally hit end workout and it said we had worked out for 28 minutes, including the overtime. See y’all next week!

  1. 45!

  2. @Heatstroke – It was a much appreciated 45 effort from a man hitting the road to PA today! Thank you for you faithfulness.

@Project – Great work out there! I was inspired by your work ethic.

@All – Where are the regular RS Pax? It’s nice to see new blood, but this was almost an entirely new RS guard. Great job Kilowatt, Project, Heatstroke, and “3”.

  3. @Sparknut, aches and pains.
