6 of Harrisburgs #Fitdads and 1 #Fitkid beat the far sack, braved the torrential downpour of snow, and had a little snow day fun at #TheRailyard.  @Clueless saved the day by bringing out 3 sleds, which made the workout way more fun…I mean interesting.  The fun day/workout went a little like this:

Warmish-Up

• Mosey/sled down to the bottom of the soccer field
• SSH x 20 IC
• IST x 15 IC
• The Windmill x 10 IC
• Merkins x 10 IC

The Fun Thang

• partner up for first circuit
  • 1st partner runs straight up the hill to perform dips until the other partner shows up
  • 2nd partner runs up the S side walk with the sled
  • Once partner 2 shows up, both partners sled down to the bottom of the hill.  Main goal: beat the other team in distance traveled
  • repeat circuit 4 times

• 2nd circuit:
  • both partners run up the hill
  • perform 10 merkins @ midhill
  • perform 10 dips at the top
  • sled down with partner to the bottom of the hill
  • repeat circuit down to 5 with decreasing increments of 1
• 3rd circuit
  • well not really a circuit, but mosey over to the steepest part of the hill for a friendly sled competition. Thanks for the idea @Clueless
  • two pax sled down trying to get the farthest distance: loser performs 10 burpies and winner only performs 20 burpies.  There was some wagering involved but the pax had more fun with sledding and mumble chatter.

Wet Moleskin

1. I think everyone had a little bit of fun performing the Fitness and Fellowship part of 3 F’s this morning.
2. Thanks to all that came out this morning and braved the icy roads.  Special thanks to @Clueless for bringing the sleds along and totally making the workout gnarly #Tclaps
3. TClaps to @BBQ, @Segundo, and @Gamma for getting a few extra miles during #Bullrun #fitdads
4. Had a lot of fun during this one and enjoyed the fellowship at the workout and coffeeteria #showtoknow
