Cinder Cards and a Mini Q-School
All All MECA BackblastsJune 30th, 2016
While some overly-ambitious, albeit patriotic, Tradition-ers ended June with Old Glory, 10 of The Precinct’s faithful gathered together for a leisurely, fun and friendly game of cards! The rules were simple. After a little Warmorama, grab a Cinder Block, take turns picking a card, and we all join in for 2-14 reps – in cadence! Whoever drew the card counted the cadence, so we ended up having a mini Q-School at the same time. Every 4th card, we sprinted a lap around the Cell Block. Fun and friendly, right?
- Clubs: Curls
- Spades: Squats
- Hearts: Triceps Extensions
- Diamonds: Overhead Press
- Jokers: Run the Prison Yard Loop
Since every rep was actually TWO because of the cadence counting, in the end we did 172 Curls, 100 Squats, 118 Triceps Extensions, 138 Overhead Presses, 8 laps around the Cell Block, 1 Prison Yard Loop, and we still had a little time for some Mary! Well done men!!!
