All All MECA Backblasts

May 5th, 2016 By Gamma

19 posted at The Ridge and discovered that Posh is actually “they” in “they said….” Oh, and we lifted some sandbags.

Warm-up
After a UCB roundhouse kick to Bull’s car, quick mosey to the end of the lot and back, then circle up. Despite the calls to skip right to Mary, we forged ahead.
SSH x20
Mericans 10x (on my signal)
Air Squats x10
Arm Circles as we counted off in teams of 6
Each team grab a sandbag from YHC’s truck and head to the side of the school, switching off as needed

All the Gainz
As a team, 300 Shoulder Presses with the sandbag; 1 lifts while the other 2 run to the other side of the field and back, then rotate
400 Flutter Kicks with sandbags pressed; other 2 plank, then rotate through as needed
300 Donkey Kicks on the wall; 2 do the exercise while 1 runs the field and back with the sandbag, and rotate through
300 Curls; 1 lifts while the other 2 plank, then rotate as needed
100 Sandbag Webbs; 1 lifts while the other 2 run the field and back, then rotate through

Ran out of time, so headed back to the cars, each team rotates carrying the sandbag as needed

Announcements
1. Kojak and UCB encouraged all to consider the Twilight 5k on Friday, May 13th…family friendly and everyone gets a medal! Details here.
2. F3Concord is having their Happy Hour tonight, 8pm at Cabarrus Brewery, and extended the invitation to the Harrisburg/MeCa pax.
3. The 4th Annual F3Harrisburg Family Cookout is scheduled for Saturday, June 4th (details coming soon). Word is The Bear is scheduled for that day as well, but you’ll be back in plenty of time, and will definitely need a cold beverage after that…

Moleskin
1. Always wondered who “they” is in “that’s what they said.” Now we know. Thanks for making the rain stop, Posh.
2. Apparently 35 LBCs is some guys’ limit for holding in the flatulence.
3. Great to see Torque Wrench and Shake ‘n Bake back in the game. Keep posting!
4. I’m sure I missed many others, but at my end of the wall, Bear Claw was killing it. Not easy trying to keep up with Othello and Bull, but he never stopped pushing.
5. Nice job to those who went out early to run. Granted, Bull got it more mileage than the other three of us combined, but we’ll get there.
6. For the record, when Clueless asks “why so many reps?” what he really means is “yeah, I can do that many one-handed”

  1. Strong work!

  2. That sucked. Great lead.

  3. Awesome lead this morning. I was having HTL flashbacks, however, without the blackouts and fatigue, so there’s that. Lotsa dudes out there flat killing it this morning. Everyone can go around and tell their co workers how #swole they got with F3.

  4. Great Q, @Gamma. I didn’t feel great and showed up late, but I’m glad I did. My arms hurt.

  5. Awesome lead!!!
The sandbags were a great touch but I didn’t think it was going to end!!! Team Mullet rocks!!!!
UCB must’ve thought it was a Taebo workout with that roundhouse but I didn’t see anything……

  6. Team @DickTracy, @ShakeNBake, @Tumbler, @Clueless was sandbagging the entire time.

Nice change up @Gamma! Stuff + Things + Kids = Messy House.

    1. I suspected as much, especially with @Tumbler on your team. Sandbaggers…

Just remember, it’s not a messy house if you dramatically lower your cleanliness standards.

  7. “They” is my middle name.
Thanks for the beat down this morning and the help counting reps.
Felt like a kitty when you guys ran back and had this look on your faces like “are you kidding me, you only did how many reps??”. 😛

  8. Great beatdown @Gamma! Sandbag kept getting heavier and heavier.
