Something about Imitation
All All MECA BackblastsApril 19th, 2016
They say imitation is the highest form of flattery. YHC copied some of @Gamma and @HoneyDo’s earlier workouts, but learned that flattery only happens when the Q does the workout right! This morning? Not much went according to plan, except that 19 men from Harrisburg showed up for a Ridge beatdown. When YHC arrived at the #Ridge, @Kojak and @ScheduleC were finishing up their #ruck workout and @Bull was out running his usual #Morning10K (or is it more than that?) – #muchrespect to these warriors. Many of PAX came roaring in around 5:29am for the workout #beenTheredoneThat. Here’s how it went:
Mosey around the ridge
Warmup
#Disclaimer
SSH x20
Cotton Picker x20
Imperial Stormtrooper x20
5 Burpees OYO
The Thang
Mosey to the end of parking lot by football field
Form groups of 3. Each member of the group does a certain exercise in the set. P1 starts by running, P2 behind him with Lunges and P3 brings up the rear with Dragon Walks. P1 runs to the other end of the lot and around the island. P1 runs back to catch P3. P1 takes over Dragon Walks, P3 runs to P2 and takes over Lunges and P2 takes off running catches P1 and takes over Dragon Walks, and the cycle continues. The set when teammate doing Dragon Walk reaches the other end of the parking lot. #alotBetterWhenHoneyDoDidItInFebruary

It is a privilege to lead! Thank you, PAX, for your strong work this morning.
Good job this morning bud.
Great to see some folks back out now that it is warmer!
Thanks @SoloCup! Agreed about the warmer weather, I think we will be seeing 20+ guys out soon.
Great lead this morning. Also, you were a good sport with all the ribbing and mumble chatter. It just means we were having fun. See you soon!
That’s right @ScheduleC – got to have fun! I think the best #mumblechatter comment was yours, “mean we are only going to do one burpee at the end!” Next time I’ll make it 10. Thanks for the comment!
Recycled or Imitated no worries – thanks for leading. I enjoyed the workout.
Thanks @SidVicious!
