An even 10 posted for the weekly Cruise thinking it would be the standard easy run.  Nope.

The Thang:

1. Pippa’s Out and Back.  HC Parkway, Christenbury, Millstream, Clark Creek, up to Winding Walk entrance, and back.
2. Covered 6 miles today.  That is big for the Cruise.

The Naked Moleskin:

1. At least three different pace groups sprung up which was great.  Everybody got challenged.  If you aint running with someone faster than you, then you aren’t getting faster….
2. That leads me to Frodo.  Guess he was looking for a tempo run and Stoli, Google, Ironhide, and I were dumb enough to hang with him.
3. That leads me to Google’s comment at the end of the run when we were looking at stats.  To paraphrase….”damn! I’m going to facebook this one!”  Last mile was sub 7.
4. Guess I shouldn’t be surprised that the hardest Cruise in recent memory is also my favorite Cruise of recent memory…  I was on a high all day from that little race.
