16 proud citizens gathered on election morning to post in the gloom before posting at the ballot box. Here’s how it went:

THE THANG
The Ides of March: run 3 laps around parking lot with 15 reps at each corner
* 15 Merkins at 1st corner
* 15 Squats at 2nd corner
* 15 Curb Dips at 3rd corner
* 15 Curb Calf Raises
The Wall
* Partner 1 People’s Chair on the yuuuge wall while Partner 2 sprints to border & back (flapjack & repeato x3)
* P1 Plank while P2 sprints to border & back (flapjack & repeato x3)
Feel the Bern
* Group 1 (thoroughbreds): Regular suicide (touch each line & back to beginning)
* Group 2 (clydesdales): Modified suicide (touch all lines but middle, skipping that one)

Enjoyed this election day beatdown, but I gotta say I probably would have enjoyed it more if Gamma, Hootie, or Solo Cup would have been there. Disappointed at the lack of mumblechatter during the Trump run for the border and the #FeelTheBern socialist burpees. Maybe I should have gone with the Ben Carson running-away-from-his integrity sprints? Or some Hillary flip-flop Superman/Bananas?
Probably best we weren’t there….probably would still be out there “debating.” But seriously, looks like a good workout. I’m all for making the fast guys run just a bit more!

Don’t think I’ve worked out with Minnow in awhile but that man is a workhorse!!! He led most of the Ides of March, until he was joined by BBQ, but he definitely makes me do more than I think I’m capable of.
Since Gapper was in the Clydesdales group he didn’t hear the mumbling about the Bernie Sanders suicide distribution!!!! But it was all good.
Hey, we can’t let the top 1% of runners finish first all the time. 🙂
