All All MECA Backblasts

11 pax found their way to the weekly gathering of the Cruise.

The Thang:

  1. Evaluate group.  Determine we can do a longer run that ranges a bit further from the confines of the HC Parkway.  201 Central Loop it is.
  2. 5.6 miles for the version that gets back on HC Parkway at the end.

The Naked Moleskin:

  1. At least three pace groups sprang up as we got under way.  Always nice to know that you have options when you come to the Cruise.  Feeling frisky?  Head to the front.  Feeling funky?  Hang in the back.
  2. Enjoyed a solid 10 minutes of Tech Talk with @Bling, @Turkey, and @Fili re: the slowly developing plans for A/V installs at the new Bradford Prep building which are happening on Saturday morning.  Bored on sat around 10AM?  Let me know!  Would be happy to give you the keys to a new projector setup of HDMI cables, wall plug, projector mount, and of course….the projector.
  3. @Chavez and @Turkey pulled ahead to the front of the group and left @Fili and I to talk about school discipline theory.  I think we both agree that things were better back when we were in school and that came from a healthy respect/fear of #ThatGuy who wielded the authority and power to swing a drilled out paddle to encourage you to reconsider your rowdy ways.
  4. Had some additional ski talk with @Bling and @Skipper post-COT.  Taking kids skiing is not a cheap endeavor, but it sure is rewarding to teach them a new skill in life.  Like riding a bike – you don’t ever lose it.

    Fun fact! The Nanny has Q’ed 23 of the last 28 Cruises at Highlands!! Good job stepping up Nanny!

    But c’mon guys!! Give the guy a break and sign up to Q!!
